I am looking for a book ” 1940’s Hair styles”. This book is suppose to be the best of the best. It includes pictures, detail and then some. It also goes into essentials and extras needed. Of all of the searching that I have come across to try and find material for How to on hair styles this one keeps coming up.
Here is the description I pulled about the book.

I am still shopping for that great summer time outfit. So here is another that has caught my eye. Every one of these pieces I have found on eBay and either bidding already or keeping an eye on it. All vintage ( shoes are reproductions ).

A great woven purse. This one seems to be a little oversized. .. love it for that reason even more.

This little toaster has caught my eye today.I am sure it is because this is totaly Art Deco. Look at those lines! Check out that silver..it could really shine!! From what I have read this model sounds better than the one I have now! I am lucky if the little bugger to stay down at all when putting toast in. I have to stand there holding the button down, then like walking away from a sleeping baby I very carefully pull my hand away not to bother the toaster while it get this..it TOASTS! LOL- enjoy this one. I know what I want for x-mas this year!
This one I am currently keeping an eye on through Ebay so we will see if I get to add him to our little house

I came across this website and thought I would share it… I love this persons TV – check out what he says about it!

Simple, this Zenith was the first set sold with wireless remote control
and that makes it worth the effort to save it from the landfill!
This system uses Photoelectric cells in the four corners of the
screen to control On/Off, mute and channel selection.
Since it used regular visible light to control the functions
(The remote was basically a flashlight) it was subject to all sorts of
interference from room lighting or even sunlight if
it was positioned facing a window.
These problems spelled doom for this system and it was only used for one year,
it was followed by Zenith’s improved ultrasonic “Space-Command” system in 1956″

How do I love theeeeee????
Thanx to the lovely idea of Craigslist I now do most of my window shopping there. In doing so I have found this baby. Lacey, is it Salmon or pink? Whatever it is HELLA CUTE is all I could think of. They are asking $150.00 for it and that’s without chair. ” Do I really need to sit? “ I think to myself. ” Not right away, I sit all day at work”
Anywho, I thought I would add this to my section of items I want for my house!
