 We are cozy and almost quaint but a little more room would be nice.  I just keep thinking to myself that as the spring comes and the weather stays dry and the nights get longer again there is less and less time we are inside our tiny little house. 

 So, this season…. what will it bring to the shop? I am thinking 50’s BBQ’s and patio socials.  Cocktails flow while waiting for the perfect moments when the burgers are done. The iron chef also known as the Man of The House calls to gather all the men around as they debate the sauces and tenderness. 

 I see full circle skirts on the woman and little ribbons in the girls hair. Of course with my house having boys, dirt on the shirts and knees of the pants or long short is always a given. (Look in the tips of the day for Baking Soda tips on how to clean this off)

 So I guess you we will see a few things this season, probably some out door patio wear, utensils for the BBQ and outdoor wardrobes.  Aprons are always a plenty so be sure to check them out and be the best looking host at your next social.

 Time to run, my 9-5 is coming to an end today and it is time to work on the grocery list.

Cup coffee Dear? No, ok, I have Tea as well. Tee Hee- these Thermo’s are great!! There are two identical thermos that come in this great handy dandy plstic and plaid carrying bag. One of the thermos doesn’t look like it has had much use as the inside is all nice and perfectly shiny. The other thermos looks inside like it may have had some coffee in it a couple times. The bag is in great vintage conditions. The handles are not ripped or torn. The metal zipper is still in great condition and works smoothly. Each Thermos stands a total of 12 inches tall and 4 inches wide.

Ohh Betty, where did you ever get that cute little ashtray? As one Betty says to another. We went on this trip and….

So you see folks, ashtrays are not just for putting your butts in them ( ) they are for conversation starters and safety measures when Betty has had one too many afternoon cocktails and she starts to think your plants are perfect for her butt!

In this listing you will get 3 lovely little cuties. The Yellow ashtray is from Center Street Trailer Court in Salem, OR. Meausres aprox 4inches by 4 inches and 1 inch high.
Blue and clear ahstray is from Alpine Cafeterias ~Washington’s Finest Measures almost the same as the yellow- however this one is a little lower standing just a half inch tall.

Last but certainly not least we have the little cutie brown tray. For The Betys Rest – East or West TraveLodge Highway Hotels – ok now you know someone snatched these from one of those little motel rooms on the side of the road.

Yup- here they are. I was doing a little sewing therapy and this is what came of it. LOL. These are cute for your retro rambler. The girly inside and well, just to look at. They do work! I have made a few in my day and when company comes and they see me pull out my polka dot holders they always ask where I got them. Where else??..Me!

Of course they are not going to be perfectly sized the same since they are hand made. However they are aprox 7 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches. This listing is for the two you see in the pictures. Ahhh, he’s getting ready with his button on ruffles while she is getting the last finishing touches from her brides maids. It is a retro wedding just waiting to come together! Great Fall colors in this suit and excellent lines make for a perfect wedding shot.

This is a lovely tux that is just waiting to be worn again! The label states Chancellor by John Weitz and below that are two more labels. One for care and launder instructions and the other from Amalgamated Workers of America Copyrighted in 1949 however this suit is pretty much dated to the 70s. Size 37 R. Pants have a tag that state 28-30 REG. Palm Beach Formals.

I just love this suit! It looks so great on the model and the lines are just perfect. This comes with pants, jacket and a great button on ruffle to give it that complete look!

This little cutie is a 70’s candy dish. It had been hand painted and fired. I have a couple of these that I use during the holidays but I don’t need so many The main color for the background is a creamy white with greens and red splashes. This application of color was highly popular as I have many hand painted owls and flower pots just like it from this decade.
The dish measures just over 7 inches long and 6 inches wide at the fatest area towards the bottom. The dish is at least less than a pound.
The paint and shine are in very good condition. I do not see any cracks or chipping and the color, very vibrant. (via ForThebettys on Etsy)

This clutch is classic just like the title says. With 11 inches across at the bottom and just a smidge smaller at the top coming in around 10.4 inches it will give just the cutest flair to it. Faux gold coin purse like clasp are sturdy and will hold this closed nicely. Great clutch in good vintage condition. Item shows a little wear on the inside, however on the corner of the outter corner on the top left there is one spot that has started to wear thin and you are able to see a tiny bit of white coming through. His drink is cold, his cigarette is waiting to be lit and boy oh boy is he hot! Just look at this suit!! This great vintage three piece suit is in perfect condition! It has been cared for, hung and left alone. It is just begging to be brought out for a night on the town.
It will keep you warm as the fabric is nice and thick. With no holes, rips or tears there is no way the chilly fall air is getting through this bad boy, that is what 100% Polyester does
Can you believe there are still store tags on it?! In saying that the season is coming upon us to celebrate the gouhl or ghost and if you decide to pass on those there will also be the bells and tinsle next. Since there are plenty of reds and greens in here it is sure to be complete for any upcoming holiday occasion. So common ladies.. wouldn’t you want this standing at your door?
