Tip of the Day : Powder VS Liquid

resize1.jpegSo everyone knows that I listen to a ladies radio show in the morning. I usually get my ideas for my Tip of the Day from there. Well, I get the idea and if something pops into my head that I already do then I post that. Or, if I have never heard the tip before then I go home and try it and then post it.  OK- so the ladies mentioned the other day something about the color of your detergent.  Ever wake up with dry red  patches on your face in the morning? Yup it could be your detergent.  If you know you are not allergic to it and this doesn’t happen often but enough that you notice then change it. When you change it though pick up a clear liquid detergent. These will rinse out easier taking with it the dust mites and dander that the others leave behind. Apparently the colored detergents don’t wash out as easily and thus not totally washing your articles.  Leaving those nasties to fester on your face. It is like when you wake up with a puddle of drool… ah huh

I believe this to be true. Being a “ Gain Queen “ through and through using the stuff for not only laundry but cleaning toilets, spot removal on the carpets, scrubbing grease from “ The Man of the House” off of my bathtub and shower walls. You name it, I have cleaned it with Gain Laundry Detergent!  In the powdered form it is white with blue specks. In liquid it is a dark green.  I am currently using the liquid form for clothes because I would go a little great gonzo on the detergent in the wash and it wasn’t totally rinsing. So, I use the liquid. I am now rethinking this.. might need to swap it back to the powder!  If you have any comments on this please feel free to post them. I love new ways to use Gain around my house. Love that Island Fresh smell!
